Fabrication Lead & Brake Press Operator

Location: Bangor, PA
Starting Pay: $35/hour
Direct Hire Opportunity

 

Are you an experienced fabrication professional looking for a leadership role in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We’re hiring a Fabrication Lead & Press Brake Operator for a well-established manufacturer that specializes in industrial-grade equipment for the food and baking industry.

 

This is a direct hire position with excellent pay and benefits, offering long-term stability and the chance to work in a team-focused environment where your skills and input are truly valued.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Program, operate, and maintain a Trumpf CNC Press Brake

  • Form sheet metal components (0.050” to 0.375”)

  • Lead and coordinate daily tasks in the fabrication department

  • Read blueprints and assist with layout and adjustments

  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and organization

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supervisors

  • Operate tools such as angle grinders, shears, drill presses, and band saws

  • Handle raw material deliveries and organize stock

  • Perform general machine and facility maintenance

  • Use forklifts, overhead cranes, and various lifting devices

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of press brake programming and operation experience

  • 3+ years in a general fabrication role

  • 1+ year in a lead or supervisory capacity

  • Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs frequently (up to 75 lbs occasionally)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

 

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!):

  • Experience with fiber laser cutting and welding processes

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or eDrawing viewers

  • ERP system experience

  • HVLP paint system usage

  • Background in low-volume/high-mix production environments
