Thermoforming Machine Operator
Whitehall, PA 18052
-Basic Math skills are required (fraction conversations)
-Machine shop and tooling experience required
Duties will include:
-Building enough tools to insure machines are always operating and performing correctly
-Being able to comfortable lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
-Reviews schedule with Scheduler
-Responsible for proper set-up of tooling as per prescribed practices and work instruction.
-Responsible for inspection of all tooling pre- and post-production to ensure tooling in satisfactory condition.
-Responsible for completing Visual Quality PDC checklist during inspection of all tooling.
-Follows all safety rules and insures proper safety practices are being used.
-Responsible for storage of tooling in a manner which protects tooling from damage
-Responsible for maintaining accurate tooling storage procedures
-Documents process for new tools and documents changes in existing processes.
-Enters NCM information for tooling repairs
-Housekeeping: Keep area clean, floor swept, auxiliary equipment stored in proper areas.
-Initiates corrective action when necessary through Managing Up when applicable.
-Requires the ability to bend, lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
-Must be able to safely operate a fork truck
Train on 1st shift and move to 2nd
Needs to be willing to stay until work is completed. Weekends are a possibility
3pm-11: 30pm + overtime
Pay is BOE
