Shipping Team Lead-1st shift

Job Description


We are hiring a Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipping staff, maintaining compliance with company policies and carrier requirements, and ensuring orders are packed and shipped according to customer and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead shipping team members during daily operations.

  • Assign and monitor workloads to ensure on-time shipments.

  • Verify accuracy of picked and packed orders prior to shipment.

  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.

  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Maintain shipping records, bills of lading, and tracking documentation.

  • Monitor and manage inventory of shipping supplies (boxes, pallets, tape, labels, etc.).

  • Communicate with customer service, production, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).

  • 2+ years of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience.

  • Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of shipping methods, carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL), and documentation.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).

 

1st shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

 

Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr
