Monday-Friday

6:30am-2:30pm

$28-$30/hr BOE

About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Blending Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. You’ll play a key role in operating equipment, following strict protocols, and ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards. If you’re detail-oriented, process-driven, and thrive in a clean, regulated environment—we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for weighing of raw materials following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

  • Responsible for the operation, general maintenance and cleaning of equipment used in the manufacturing of liquid, powder and solid dosage pharmaceutical products, following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

  • Maintain equipment logs.

  • Maintain the tooling in a clean and operational manner.

  • Completion and reconciliation of batch records.

  • Assist in other production and packaging functions, when available.

  • Perform cross-functional tasks in other production departments, as needed, and as directed by senior managers.

  • May be responsible for access to the DEA controlled substances storage areas.

  • Complies with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 

  • Assists with root cause analysis and the investigation of specification deviations. 

  • Creates and/or revises standard operating procedures for Manufacturing as required.

  • Trouble-shoot equipment malfunctions, Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks is required.

  • Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot. 

  • Ability to work on non-routine to somewhat complex problems, requiring evaluation of multiple factors before taking action. 

  • Experience in GMP Facility is required. 

  • Understanding of other aspects of machinery and automation, including, safety standards, mechanical systems, and pneumatics is required.

  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Available for overtime as required

  • Experience with V-Blenders, Granulators, Tablet Compression strongly preferred.
