Job Description


Inspector – Electronics Manufacturing
Location: Macungie, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

 

HTSS is currently hiring an Inspector for a leading electronics manufacturing company in the Macungie area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization with the potential for long-term employment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Mirtec 3D/2D AOI and Phoenix X-ray inspection equipment.

  • Inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electro-mechanical assemblies for compliance with IPC standards and product specifications.

  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using engineering documentation and work instructions.

  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with all Quality System processes.

  • Follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and cleanroom coats.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Capable of working independently and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to interpret material specifications, engineering documents, and applicable standards

 

 

Requirements:

  • Previous quality control or inspection experience required.

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.

  • Familiarity with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, multimeters, microscopes) preferred.

  • Basic soldering skills are a plus.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Experience with IPC-A-610 standards preferred.

  • Comfort operating computer-based inspection equipment.
