Job Title: Line Leader (All Shifts Available)

Macungie, PA
$20–$22/hour

1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift Available
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity


 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Line Leader to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor to help lead daily activities, ensure product quality, and maintain efficient, safe operations within assigned production areas.

This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience in manufacturing or packaging who is ready to take the next step in their career.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading daily production activities to meet schedule and performance goals

  • Ensure product quality and compliance with company and customer standards

  • Communicate job assignments and priorities to production staff

  • Maintain accurate batch record documentation and verify completion

  • Monitor packaging operations for efficiency and performance

  • Support line/area changeovers, startups, and cleaning processes

  • Promote and maintain GMP and safety standards

  • Assist with training employees and supporting team development

  • Report production metrics and communicate updates to management

  • Help resolve production issues and recommend process improvements

  • Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and inspection-ready

 

 

Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production required

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of quality standards, inspections, and documentation

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

  • Ability to manage priorities and support a team in a fast-paced environment

 

 

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing/packaging leadership roles

  • Experience in inspection or quality processes required

 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed

  • Work around moving machinery in a production environment
