Molding Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description


Our client inspires creativity and imagination through its innovative art tools, crafting activities, and creative toys. They’re looking to add a skilled 2nd Shift Molding Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known company based in the Lehigh Valley.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, adjust, and operate plastic injection molding machines to meet production schedules and quality standards.

  • Perform mold changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize performance.

  • Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

  • Conduct routine maintenance on molding equipment and tools to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

  • Follow all safety and quality protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

  • Experience with plastic injection molding processes and machinery.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Knowledge of mold setup, machine operation, and maintenance procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work 3:30pm-11:30pm and occasional overtime as needed.
