Now hiring a Packaging Leader in Allentown, PA.

 

Temp to Perm opportunity.

 

Monday-Friday

6:30am-2:30pm (OT when needed)

Pay $20/hr

 

About the Role:
We're hiring reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our pharmaceutical packing team. Ensure clear communication of product requirements and scheduling deadlines, in order to successfully complete packaging orders on time. Performs review of packaging and manufacturing batch records on time, with a focus on Right the First time goals

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training new employees on operation, and cleaning of packaging equipment, following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).

  • Oversight of Packaging Technicians working in their current operation.

  • Performing timely Batch record review with a focus on Right the First Time. Acquiring necessary corrections and seeing review through completion.

  • Support development of packaging Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instructions (WI’s).

  • Training (with documentation) of operators in each specific packaging function.

  • Maintain production inventory as needed, and as directed by Production Supervisor(s).

  • May be responsible for access to the DEA controlled substances storage areas.

  • Special projects and other tasks as assigned by Production Supervisor(s)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required, along with minimum of two (2) years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in packaging industry required with a preference in pharmaceutical packaging and batch record review and documentation.

  • Ability to read and understand SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) is required.

  • Be a strong team player and understand the impact of your job on others

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be reliable and detail oriented.

  • Will require travel between facilities (<5 miles).

  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to speak, read, and understand English.

  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.

  • Basic computer skills are required.
