Job Description


Our client is an industry leader in manufacturing custom millwork and is known for delivering exceptional projects and fostering innovation. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of their projects from start to finish.

 

As a Project Manager, you will take charge of project planning, coordination, and execution while ensuring alignment with company goals, client expectations, and budget requirements. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in managing resources, solving problems, and delivering outstanding results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and implementation from award through completion.

  • Analyze project scope, goals, and deliverables to align with client and company expectations.

  • Conduct field measurements to confirm dimensions, materials, and installation requirements.

  • Define project tasks, allocate resources, and manage team assignments.

  • Oversee project execution to ensure specifications, timelines, and budgets are met.

  • Manage change orders, ensuring specifications are complete and approved by the client.

  • Submit required documentation, drawings, and samples to clients as per contract terms.

  • Schedule material purchases and production timelines to meet project milestones.

  • Monitor project progress and document updates using Crows Nest or other project management software.

  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure billing is accurate and timely.

  • Maintain strong communication with vendors, clients, and internal departments.

  • Conduct project evaluations and closeout assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary education degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing millwork and/or construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of millwork production and installation processes.

  • Proven expertise in project management principles, techniques, and tools.

  • Experience with strategic planning, risk management, and change management.

  • Demonstrated success in people management and team leadership.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

 

Salary: $75-100K, based on experience

 

This is a direct hire position.
